AnimfxNZ returns to Wellington

04 Oct 2011

Wellington’s growing reputation as the digital capital of New Zealand will be further bolstered in November when the sixth annual AnimfxNZ conference kicks off. The conference has an amazing programme including a behind the scenes look at the making of Tin Tin at Weta Digital.

AnimfxNZ is an Animation, Games and Visual Effects conference that brings together a mix of international speakers, including animation feature directors, vfx supervisors, digital artists and game developers, to present, share and interact with attendees from all over the world.
Hosted in partnership with the Visual Effects Society (VES) and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), AnimfxNZ is fast becoming the "must attend" event for discovering new talent, networking with leading industry executives and learning about the exciting trends in the rapidly changing landscape of the digital media industry.
AnimfxNZ’s formula of offering New Zealand companies the opportunity to network, learn and socialise with leading players on the world digital stage, as well as with their peers has created a robust event that has grown consistently since its inception in 2006.

AnimfxNZ is a must for Game, Animation and VFX industry professionals & students: animators, 3D & 2D artists, producers, directors, digital media professionals, creative leads, vfx supervisors, ad agency executives, writers and teachers.
