Activate

Do you have a business idea that is waiting to take off?

Grow Wellington is looking for the next generation of business superstars in the Wellington region; we want to find them and help them develop into vibrant world-class enterprises.

Activate is a development programme for early stage businesses.  The Activate journey focuses on the key strategies and fundamentals of business and gets you thinking about how to apply the knowledge to your business concept and prepare you for what you need to work on. The programme itself is briefly described here to give you taster of what to expect.

As well as the group sessions, Activate includes one-on-one time with a mentor who's role it is to guide you through the concepts covered in the modules, to apply them to your business, challenge your thinking, to help motivate you and be a sounding board for all the ideas and tasks you will face as you progress.

The next Activate course kicks off with the Jump Start weekend, 23-25 March.

To be considered for Activate you need to be open minded, and committed to the discovery of a viable business model and your own capability as an entrepreneur.
